WHAT KIND OF BEEF DO YOU SELL?
We sell all-natural, premium-quality, aged, grain-fed beef. Animals in our care receive no antibiotics, hormones or steroids. Our cattle is raised in the pasture, humanely and we only sell what were ourselves raise.

HOW IS HANGING WEIGHT DETERMINED?
Hanging weight is the weight of the animal after the parts that are not used are discarded. This is most commonly 60% of the live weight.

HOW IS MY FINAL PRICE PER POUND DETERMINED?
Your final price will be based upon your hanging weight, combined with your processing fee.

WHAT KIND OF CUTS WILL I GET?
In a half of a beef, you can expect approx. the following:
12 roasts, 14 t-bone steaks, 5 sirloin steaks, 5 sirloin tip steaks, 14 rib-eye steaks, and 6 round steaks. There are also short ribs, flank steak, stew meat, brisket and approximately 75# of ground beef. You and your processor can customize your selections predicated on your preference of cuts. Note: Any of these cuts can be made into ground beef.

HOW MUCH FREEZER SPACE DO I NEED?
For each 25 pounds of packaged beef you will need about 1 cubic foot of freezer space. So if you order a half of beef, you need about 10 cubic feet; for a whole of a beef, you’ll need about 20 cubic feet.

WHAT ARE YOUR PAYMENT TERMS?
We ask that you submit a “good faith” deposit of $200 on a half beef and $400 on a whole beef. These deposits are non-refundable. Heritage Hill Cattle Company will contact you with the hanging weight and total cost of your beef. Your deposit will then be deducted and your total can be paid by cash, check or Paypal. A 3% processing fee will be accessed for all credit card sales. Payment in full must be made before your beef is sent for processing. You will pay the processing fee upon pick-up.
